HOPE FOR NEW YORK
StreetSquash
Uptown

Founded in 1999, StreetSquash is an after-school youth enrichment program that combines academic tutoring and support with squash instruction, college access and success programming, leadership development, community service and one-on-one mentoring.

Mission: StreetSquash’s mission is to provide consistent, long-term and reliable support to the children, families and schools in Harlem.

Vision: By exposing these children to a broad range of experiences and by maintaining the highest standards, StreetSquash aims to help each child realize his or her academic and personal potential.

OUR PARTNERSHIP
Our volunteers connect the dots for teachers and students by working on weekly homework and current curriculum to help at-risk youth meet academic goals throughout the year.
We love StreetSquash because it's unique and encourages healthy habits both athletic and academic.
Squash lovers and studious types alike serve with StreetSquash and are making a difference in the lives of youth through their involvement.
