The Brooklyn Arab American Friendship Center is a place where Arab American families can come to learn ESL, develop meaningful friendships, and bridge cross-cultural barriers.

Volunteers lead men and women from the community in ESL classes Monday-Thursdays, serving at least once a week on a regular basis. Volunteers are provided curriculum to follow, but can use their own creativity to engage the members of the class.

Before you serve, you will need to complete an application and interview. You can Request Information below to get the process started! Because of this, it may take a few weeks for you to start volunteering to teach.

Volunteers must be 24+ years old to serve.
