Christmas can be a very disappointing time for children whose parents are in prison. For this reason, Hope for New York works with Prison Fellowship and Manhattan Bible Church to help make Angel Tree possible. This year through Angel Tree, Hope for New York's partner churches provided more than 200 children with Christmas gifts on behalf of their incarcerated parent.  In addition, 94 Hope for New York volunteers helped with calling Angel Tree families, sorting and wrapping gifts, serving food, painting faces, leading arts & crafts and sharing the love of Christ and the spirit of Christmas with the families who attended the Angel Tree Party on December 11, 2011.
