Hurricane Irene has passed, but we would like to make sure that everyone is well informed about potential next steps. Please check out these websites to make sure that all your needs are met during this time.

NYC Severe Weather: For those experiencing flooding, loss of power, or have experienced storm damage.
Redeemer Diaconate: For those that attend Redeemer and are in need of personal assistance.
New York Cares: Please visit this website if you are interested in helping out with urgent projects related to the damage done by Hurricane Irene.
VOLUNTEER
Assistance is needed in packing the supplies at 65-70 of the sites used at the Shelters over the weekend. This task involves collecting, packing, palletizing supplies. Once palletized, supplies will be loaded onto trucks. There is some heavy lifting involved. Assistance is needed beginning Wednesday, August 31. Hours of operation are expected be 8:30 to be no later than 7:30 pm.
