Hope for New York

HFNY volunteers visit the residents of DeWitt Nursing Home one Sunday a month, leading and participating in a worship service.  DeWitt's population are often abandoned or seldom visited by their families, and the relationships built can become an important lifeline for them. The HFNY Volunteer Team Leader coordinates the worship services, which include a time of confession, renewal, scripture reading, preaching, and music.  There are also great opportunities for one-on-one visitations outside of the worship services.

We are looking for 3 small groups who can lead the DeWitt Worship Service one time each quarter.  If you're group is interested and would like more information, check out the upcoming service on July 11th.  Contact for more information.
