Habitat for Humanity - A Brush With Kindness

The mission of A Brush with Kindness is to enhance and revitalize neighborhoods where Habitat-NYC has built affordable homes. It is about connecting people and restoring homes and community space through simple acts of kindness so that families can once again live in safe and decent neighborhoods.

Hope for New York volunteers serve with Habitat for Humanity on the fourth Saturday of the month from 9:15AM to 4:30PM.

HFNY volunteers spent 8,722 hours working with Adult Recovery programs in 2010.

HFNY distributed over $390,000 in grants to support organizations working directly with homeless men and women.
