Gifted Hands

Gifted Hands offers recreation and healing through art, design, and craft classes for a range of populations, including at-risk youth, the homeless, people living with HIV/AIDS, and the elderly. Programs are designed to stimulate personal and community interaction and to challenge participants to realize their God-given potential. Gifted Hands programs run at many different sites throughout Manhattan.

Teach Art Class to Teenage Moms (or Provide Childcare during Class)
The Gifted Hands Community Art Class held at Covenant House is in need of volunteers to help with art and crafts classes on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:30-9PM. Volunteers are also needed to offer childcare and play with the children of mothers attending the art class. To volunteer, contact Pascal at .
Art Project Coordinator- Document arts, crafts projects in a book and also develop accompanying devotionals from Scripture to be used as a handbook for people in different Gifted Hands programs. Dates and times are flexible.
