Volunteer Opportunities:

The Leadership Academy is a mentoring and leadership development program for youth, who have grown out of Kids With A Promise’s children’s programs.  The 13-to 16-year-old participants are selected because of their character and their desire to be servant leaders.  The first two years of the Leadership Academy entail group and individual mentoring with a focus on developing the skills needed to be successful in college and the workplace.  After the first two years, students participate in job shadowing, college test prep and internships. Volunteers are involved as mentors for a minimum of one year. For more information contact, Carlos

The Young Scholars program serves 12 highly at-risk children, offering them a year-round package of services including: a life and academic mentor, scholarship to attend a quality private Christian school, tutors, peer group meetings, summer camp and a winter family retreat. Volunteers are involved as mentors for a minimum of one year. For more information, contact Ruth
