Midtown Pregnancy Support Center

The Midtown Pregnancy Support Center (MPSC) has its origins in a small prayer group formed in 1992 by four women concerned about the number of abortions in New York City and the absence of practical assistance for women who might seek alternatives to abortion. Over time, they developed the concept for a new pregnancy support center, one with three distinct characteristics: a professional atmosphere, a strictly non-political posture and a distinctly Christian orientation. Their goal was to reach the working and professional woman, a group having a large number of abortions in New York City but who are generally not served by existing social service programs.

MPSC is the realization of that vision. Located in the heart of New York City, close to Grand Central Station, MPSC is easily accessible to the five boroughs. MPSC stands ready to support women, who might otherwise choose abortion, in making the difficult decision to carry their child to term.  MPSC also offers post-abortion client advocacy and support groups for women and families seeking emotional healing following an abortion. MPSC primarily operates through volunteer support and provides all services at no charge to our clients.
