New Affiliates: Recommend Non-Profits for Partnership
Hope for New York is seeking to better serve the poor and marginalized of New York City by expanding the number of affiliate organizations we partner with. We welcome your input and feedback as we seek to engage with new nonprofit organizations in the coming year.
As you're evaluating whether a nonprofit would be a good match for Hope for New York, please consider the following questions:
- Is the organization a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, faith-based or secular?
- Does the organization serve the poor and marginalized, within the five boroughs of New York City?
- Does the organization serve their clients with excellence, dignity, and respect?
- Does the organization have opportunities for active volunteer engagement in the evenings or on weekends?
Affirmative responses to these questions mean there is a higher likelihood of mission alignment between Hope for New York and a potential new affiliate.
