Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. — Romans 12:12
At Hope for New York, we encourage our network to focus on three pillars of the Christian faith: pray, serve, and give. Pray together with us throughout the year in these different ways!
Follow Our Pray for New York Guide
Every month, pray for a community that is displaced, vulnerable, and marginalized in New York City. Pray for each community to be connected with our affiliates, so that our city will continue flourishing and thriving.
Pray, too, for all our affiliate partners who are serving these communities across the five boroughs.
Join Pray for New York Gatherings
On the first Thursday of each month, join us virtually on Zoom to pray for one of the communities listed in our Prayer Guide. We'll have ministry leaders from our church partners to guide us in prayer!
Registration for each gathering will open 1-2 weeks before the date.
- Thursday, February 15 - Homeless Neighbors (Russel Rader, Reunion Church)
- Thursday, March 14 - Elderly Neighbors (Clint Werezak, Emmanuel Anglican Church)
- Thursday, April 11 - Adults with Disabilities (Jane Yoon, Do For One)
- Thursday, April 25 - Food Insecure Neighbors (TBD)
- Thursday, May 9 - Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Neighbors (Youth For Christ)
- Thursday, June 12 - Immigrant Neighbors (Iain Coston, Redeemer East Side)
