Mentor Children with Disabilities

About this Opportunity
Center for All Abilities seeks to serve individuals with special needs and their families through creative, educational and spiritual enrichment in a faith-guided environment. Their vision is for people with special needs and their families to realize and live out their full potential in God through supportive services. Walk with U (WWU), Created as One (COA) are both mentoring programs for kids with intellectual or developmental disabilities within the Chinese community in Manhattan. WWU is for kids ages 6-11, and COA  is for kids ages 12-16. Volunteer as a mentor for either program! Mentors meet with kids at group sessions the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month from 2 to 4:30 p.m., and are asked to commit to 1 year of serving.

*Center for All Abilities is a Christian organization, and asks that all volunteers align with their faith statement to serve.
