During the winter months, there is great need to care for our homeless neighbors. At HFNY, we want to inform you how to engage and care for the poor and marginalized during one of the most challenging seasons of the year. Here are a few facts and tips about how to engage our homeless friends as well as organizations that are caring for the homeless in New York City.

This year marks Hope for New York's sixth year to participate in Don't Walk By! Don't Walk By is an annual outreach to homeless men and women in New York City during the coldest season of the year. We love partnering with several organizations to host this outreach for so many reasons!
