Join #TeamHFNY for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon (the largest marathon in the world) on Sunday, November 1! Marathoners will run over 26 miles across all five boroughs while also fundraising to support New Yorkers in need.
About Team HFNY
Our runners commit to bringing tangible hope to fellow New Yorkers in need. We do this by raising funds and awareness for 80+ nonprofit partners across the five boroughs. Funds will provide ongoing financial support, leadership training, and more resources for partners serving vulnerable and marginalized communities.
4 Things to Know Before You Apply
1. We have a limited number of spots and will not be able to offer everyone an opportunity to run with Team HFNY this season.
2. By running with us as your Official Charity Partner, each runner is committed to raising a minimum of $5,000.
3. As a Team HFNY member, you will:
- Create a customizable fundraising page to share with your network
- Be part of a WhatsApp group with your fellow runners to form community
- Have a HFNY-led team orientation and a team gathering before the marathon
4. All interested runners will be required to submit an application (see below) and sign a fundraising agreement with HFNY.
Join Team HFNY in 2026
We have a two-step application process for joining #TeamHFNY:
1. Submit a HFNY application form.
Our application forms will be available and shared in early spring 2026.
If you have already registered for the Marathon but want to run and fundraise for Hope for New York, please email marathon@hfny.org.
2. Create an individual Fundraiser page.
After we have confirmed your acceptance on #TeamHFNY and you have signed the fundraising agreement, you will be able to register and create an individual Fundraiser page to share with your friends, family, and colleagues.
