The Bowery Mission Women's Center
The Bowery Mission Women's Center, located on the Upper East Side, offers homeless women a nine month residential recovery and transitional program that includes spiritual grounding, emotional equipping and economic empowerment through which their lives are transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

The Bowery Mission Women's Center is currently looking for new Team Leaders!
If you are passionate about this ministry, please consider applying for a leadership position (contact ). All Team Leader must attend a HFNY partner church (Trinity Baptist, Redeemer, Apostles).
Volunteer Leadership Opportunities:
Special Events Team Leader - Plan and coordinate volunteers for special events at the Women's Center. These events include Valentine's Day, Graduation, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Each event typically consists of meal preparation, special decorations and purchasing gifts. For more information contact Ashley at .
Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Career Center Tutor - Teach GED, job-readiness or computer curriculum to clients. A weekly commitment is required for at least three months. Daytime or evenings for one-on-one tutoring, flexible start dates. For more information contact Sandi Darrell at
