The Bowery Mission

The Bowery Mission services include both compassionate care (meals, showers, clothes, pantry) and a Christ-centered residential recovery program for men. Participants are offered individual and group counseling, computer-based career preparation and job readiness training, as well as a structured Bible study curriculum.

Flexible Volunteer Opportunities:
Career Center Tutor - Help teach GED, ESL, job-readiness or computer curriculum to clients. A once-a-week commitment is required for at least three months. One-on-one tutoring occrus during the daytime or evenings. For more information contact Stacy Landau:
Legal Professionals - Lawyers, paralegals and law students needed to offer legal services at Bowery Mission's free legal clinic. Dates and times are flexible. For more information contact Stacy Landau:
Lunch/Meal Program Support - Volunteers needed to help prepare and serve a meals, clean-up, and organize donations. A great group activity for up to 15 people. Volunteers age 14 and up may serve.
