You must register your group to serve by contacting the person listed for each opportunity, no drop-in groups permitted.
All Angels
Location: 251 W 80th Street (UWS)
Up to 7 people can help prepare and serve a Sunday evening community meal. 1st Sunday of the month, 4:30pm-7:30pm.

5-10 volunteers can help prepare and serve a Wednesday evening meal. Wednesdays, 6:30pm-8:30pm.

The Bowery Mission Transitional Center (BMTC)
Location: 45-51 Avenue D (LES)
5-6 male volunteers needed to take part in a monthly activity night with the men living at the BMTC. Outings include bowling, meals, games, etc. Last Wednesday of every month, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Groups should be willing to commit to serving once a month for 6 months.

5-6 male volunteers need to lead a discipleship Bible Study. Experience leading small group Bible Studies and an understanding of homelessness and addiction issues are necessary. 1st Wednesday of the month: Redeemer led Bible Study; 2nd Wednesday of the month: Apostles led Bible Study.

The Bowery Mission Women's Center (BMWC)
Location: Bowery Mission Women's Center
Women volunteers prepare and serve dinner from 3:30pm to 7:30pm for the female residents living at the house in this Christian female recovery home. Groups should be willing to commit to serving once a month for 6 months.

DeWitt Nursing Home
Location: 211 E 79th Street
10-30 people can participate in or help lead a weekly worship service and build relationships with elderly residents. Sundays, 2pm-4pm. Contact
The Father's Heart
Location: 545 E 11th Street (LES)
5-10 volunteers help prepare and serve over 700 breakfasts and distribute pantry items. 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, 8:30am-12 noon.

5-6 volunteers help lead educational games at the "Home-work Table" during KidZone every Tuesday during the school year from 5:45pm-7:30pm.

5-6 volunteers help lead youth activites on Wednesdays during the school year from 7:00pm-9:00pm or lead outings one Sunday a month from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Groups should be willing to commit to serving once a month for 6 months.

Various locations

Here's Life Inner City
Location: 37-10 Skillman Ave (Long Island City)
Teams of 60 volunteers gather together throughout the year for various packing parties to sort and pack project supplies including: Back to School Bag Packs in September; Boxes of Love for Thanksgiving in November; Homeless Care Kits: January and Easter in a Bag in April. These are great one-time opportunities for groups to volunteer together. More information available closer to events.
Living Waters Fellowship

NYC Relief Bus
Location: Harlem & South Bronx
5-12 volunteers serve on the mobile soup kitchen, handing out meals and other materials. One Saturday a month, 10am-2pm.

New York City Rescue Mission
Location: 90 Lafayette Street (Downtown)
During the third weekend of each month, volunteers are needed at the New York City Rescue Mission to help pack and distribute food pantry bags to very low income residents.
Friday, 7:00pm-9:00pm; Saturday, 9:45am to 12:00pm.
Project FIND Hamilton

Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch on Sundays from 11AM to 2PM

8-12 volunteers prepare and serve a monthly dinner at the Ronald McDonald House, a “home-away-from-home” for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Saturdays, 4:30-7:30PM.
