Young Life in the New York metro area is a new and growing ministry. Young Life seeks to transform lives by generating sincere friendships with teenagers and providing them weekly events, first-class adventures and experiences where they can relax, laugh, hear the Gospel presented in a compelling way. Students also learn the skills, assets, and attitudes that will help them reach their God-given potential in life.

Flexible Volunteer Opportunities:
YoungLives - This summer, consider a close-to-home missions trip serving teen moms and their babies at YoungLives Camp in Glen Spey, NY. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, youth groups, small groups, etc. Men and Women welcome. A team of dedicated childcare volunteers is needed to give teen moms and their babies from across the northeast the best week of their lives and the opportunity to hear about Jesus and His hope for their future. YoungLives camp cannot happen without childcare. Be a part of this team at Lake Champion this summer, August 3-9th. Mentor - Young Life is looking for mentors for the 2010/2011 school year. Walk alongside non-Christian youth to build relationships and earn the right to share the Gospel of Christ. This entails spending consistent time with kids individually and attending weekly club outreach events and leadership team meetings.Various locations throughout the city.
