Registration is limited to current HFNY partner staff (2 per organization, with recommendation for EDs/Senior Leaders to attend) and church partner staff. You will receive a confirmation email with additional details closer to the event.

Our Worship Leader
Ginny Owens is the Director of Worship Arts/Community Engagement Specialist at Redeemer Lincoln Square. She is also a singer-songwriter, author, and advocate, committed to answering God’s call to care for those in need. Her music, which transcends genre boundaries, has been featured in television and film and has earned her three Dove Awards and millions of online streams. Beyond her musical achievements, Ginny has a history of partnerships with organizations who do justice and love mercy, including Compassion International, International Justice Mission, Atlas Free, and Habitat for Humanity. Our Speaker
David Lee is the Senior Pastor of Redeemer Brooklyn. He has called New York City home for over 20 years. After graduating from NYU and beginning his career as an investment banker, he felt called to ministry and earned his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary (where he also met his wife, Ann), and he’s currently pursuing his D.Min at Fuller Theological Seminary. For over a decade, David served in various pastoral roles at Redeemer Downtown. Now, he has the privilege of leading the first Redeemer church plant outside of Manhattan in Downtown Brooklyn, where he and Ann live. David loves to golf, is a huge sports fan, and thinks food is one of the best ways to bring people together!

Collective Impact Measurement

Impact Rising will introduce our work and partnership approach to supporting Hope for New York grantees in outcomes measurement. Facilitators will share current trends in the field, what HFNY is prioritizing when it comes to impact evaluation, and why it matters, then open the floor for an open Q&A. Participants will have opportunities to discuss the real challenges their organizations are facing around measurement and infrastructure. By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer picture of HFNY's priorities around impact measurement and the resources available to help them build stronger infrastructure.
What's Working, What's Not: Mobilizing Your Church to Serve

Join us for a candid conversation with fellow church partners and volunteer managers about what's working and what's not when it comes to mobilizing volunteers to serve. We'll also share fresh ideas and upcoming opportunities, including new pilots designed to help families serve together.

Inside the Hunger Collective

SNAP cuts and rising costs are pushing more families into food insecurity across NYC. This session breaks down how the Hunger Collective is already delivering 3,000 freshly prepared meals and nearly $20,000 in pantry staples to partner sites each week—helping affiliates boost client engagement and satisfaction in their programming. Learn what it takes for your organization to join and start feeding the communities you serve.
Youth Collective: Your Year Ahead Starts Here
Facilitated by: Amanda Eckhardt (Impact Rising) and Freeman Field (HFNY staff)
Impact Rising will partner with Hope for New York, serving as the backbone for the Youth Collective (YC), to bring together the Collective as a community and preview the year ahead for the cohort. Our facilitators will introduce what's coming later in the year, including walking participants through the cohort curriculum and the shared logic model the cohort will build together.
Acing Volunteer Management (When It’s Not Your Only Role)

Inviting, equipping, and thanking volunteers is vital to our work. But at many of our organizations, volunteer managers also wear many other hats. Let’s workshop together on simple practices with big impact to maximize your impact in volunteer engagement.
Collective Impact Groups: Connect, Collaborate, Grow

No organization solves the hardest problems alone—and that's exactly the point of this session. Bring your challenges, your hard-won lessons, and your questions to a room full of peers working in your same issue area, all part of the same Coalition of Hope. Together, you'll dig into the shared challenges your organizations are facing, swap what's actually worked, and map out concrete, practical ways your potential Collective Impact Group can collaborate more intentionally going forward.
