HOPE FOR NEW YORK

Brooklyn Arab American Friendship Center

Lead a Workshop and Provide Childcare for Arab American Community

Saturday 12/16/2017 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

The Brooklyn Arab American Friendship Center is a place where Arab American families can come to learn ESL, develop meaningful friendships, and bridge cross-cultural barriers.

Volunteers are needed to lead workshops on Saturday mornings on various topics such as financial literacy, family relationships, parenting skills, etc. Volunteers are also needed to provide childcare for children while parents are attending the workshop. Our goal is to equip parents with skills they need for their families to flourish and continue to foster relationships among the Arab American community in Bay Ridge. This is a great opportunity for community groups to serve together on Saturday mornings.
