Easter Stories of Hope: Raising Over $592,000 to Change Lives

Easter is a time of joy and hope!

For several decades, Hope for New York has partnered with the Redeemer network of churches to galvanize Christians to support our affiliate partners through a special Easter fund.

To inspire Christians to give and to share the important work of our affiliate partners, we debut Story of Hope videos at either Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday services. This year, we filmed two stories of women who received support from two different affiliates: Sandra of Safe Families for Children and Luisa of Beacon Christian Community Health Center.

Because of these heartfelt stories of faith transformation, our network of supporters helped us exceed our giving goal of $500,000 to raise over $592,000! We also had a generous donor offer a $25,000 matching fund at each church, and each Redeemer also met the match!

We are so thankful to all the donors who were moved to give, and our generous donor for offering the match! This financial support means our affiliates can continue crucial work that provides more hope and changes more lives!
