How a Special Year-End Match Helped Us Raise $1.3 Million

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. — 2 Corinthians 9:11

Our network of supporters went above and beyond during our December fundraising season! We raised $1.3 million for our year-end campaign which included a unique $250,000 match. This match came about when a group of generous donors provided a $125,000 match. This inspired Exilic Church, together with other donors, to raise an additional $125,000 to double the match to $250,000!

But in order to unlock this match, we were challenged to raise at least $800,000 towards our year-campaign. Every dollar raised beyond that goal would be matched 1:1 up to $250,000.

Through God’s amazing provisions and the power of our Hope for New York network in action, we were able to raise $1.3 million! In a season of great uncertainty, we couldn’t be more grateful to our supporters and to God for the outpouring of generosity. Thank you for helping us fulfill our vision of seeing every New Yorker experience flourishing!
