Official Rules — "Vote for HFNY" Instagram Contest
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR VOTE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
This contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Hope for New York, located at 1500 Broadway, Suite 700, New York, NY 10036 ("Sponsor" or "HFNY").
2. Contest Period
The Contest begins on September 1, 2026 at 12:01 am ET and ends on September 30 at 2:59 am ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be counted.
3. Eligibility
This Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
During the Contest Period:
- Follow HFNY's Instagram account @hfny
- Cast a vote for Hope For New York in the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards using the Chick-fil-A app: sign in to (or create) a Chick-fil-A One® account, go to Rewards/For You, tap "Vote Now," select the Northeast region, and vote for Hope for New York. A Chick-fil-A One® account is required to vote; account creation is free and does not require a purchase.
- Take a screenshot of your vote confirmation screen in the app.
- Post the screenshot to your public Instagram feed (not a Story) and tag @hfny in the caption or photo.
- Your account must be set to public for the duration of the Contest Period so Sponsor can verify your entry.
Bonus entries: For each additional friend you tag in the comments of your entry post, you will receive one (1) additional entry, up to a maximum of 20 bonus entries per person. Tagging a friend does not enter that friend into the Contest and does not obligate them in any way; tagged individuals are not considered entrants unless they separately complete the entry steps above.
Limit one (1) base entry per person/Instagram account. Multiple Instagram accounts operated by the same individual will be treated as one entrant, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify duplicate or fraudulent accounts.
5. Winner Selection & Odds
Winner(s) will be selected via random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, on or about October 15, 2026. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Prize
5 winners will receive the following: one week of free Chick-fil-A meals (7 total meals). Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $105 per prize. Total ARV of all prizes: $525. No cash equivalent or substitution will be made, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable.
7. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified via Instagram direct message within 2 days of the drawing. Winner must respond within 5 days of notification to claim the prize. If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required time, or does not meet eligibility requirements, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner.
Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and (where legal) a publicity release before receiving the prize.
8. Verification of Vote Screenshots
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify the authenticity of any vote screenshot submitted and to disqualify any entry it believes in good faith to be fraudulent, altered, or duplicated.
9. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, or these Official Rules, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
10. Release & Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of a prize.
11. Instagram Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, participants acknowledge this and agree that any information they provide is provided to Sponsor and not to Instagram or Meta.
12. Chick-fil-A Disclaimer
This Contest is independently organized by Hope for New York and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Chick-fil-A, Inc. or the True Inspiration Awards program.
13. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, and entry (including Instagram post) for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
14. Privacy
Information collected from entrants will be used by Sponsor solely for the purpose of administering this Contest and, unless otherwise stated, will not be sold to third parties. See Sponsor's privacy policy at [link] for more information.
15. Governing Law
This Contest and these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
