Learn about Serving as a Mentor this School Year

About this Opportunity

Operation Exodus offers educational services year-round for Latino children and families who live near or below the poverty line, in the neighborhoods of Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx.

RSVP to attend Operation Exodus's Virtual Fall Orientation to learn more about Operation Exodus's Saturday Mentoring Program. Show up virtually and learn about Operation Exodus, our programs and how you can get involved as a volunteer in the mentoring program. This is a great way to get a sense of whether mentoring might be right for you!

Mentors work with kids ages K-8th grade on Saturdays throughout the school year in class settings based on age groups and gender. Mentors must be a high school graduate and complete an application and a background check.

Orientation is mandatory for anyone who is interested in serving as a mentor.
