Avail is a confidential care network for those confirming and making decisions about unplanned pregnancies and those seeking support after an abortion.
Female After-Abortion Client Advocate Volunteers must have experienced abortion(s) and/or have counseling or social work experience. Female After-Abortion Client Advocates serve clients who are struggling from a past abortion experience. There are two roles available for the after-abortion client advocate. One is meeting with clients on a one-on-one basis and/or co-leading a 9 week support group (Avail curriculum provided) to help client's who are seeking after abortion healing. Extensive training is provided. A minimum of one year volunteer commitment is required.
Avail offers client's both remote sessions or in-person sessions. Volunteers are able to select based on schedule preferences.
