StreetSquash provides consistent, long-term, and reliable support to the children, families, and schools in Harlem. By exposing students to a broad range of experiences and by maintaining the highest standards, StreetSquash helps all participants realize their academic, athletic, and personal potential.
Do you have experience playing squash and committed to making a difference in the lives of young people? Then StreetSquash is the place for you!
Volunteers will assist the Squash Department in conducting squash practice sessions and any other tasks in the squash court area. Volunteers must have a history with Squash. Volunteers can serve on the following days and times:
Mondays:
3:30-4:30pm
4:30-5:30pm
5:30-6:30pm
6:30-7:30pm Volunteers during this 6:30pm timeslot will volunteer during "community squash" which is open to the general public (in addition to students). Volunteers signing up for this timeslot should have college-level squash skills.
Tuesday/Thursdays:
3:30-4:30pm
4:30-5:30pm
5:30-7:30pm This 5:30 slot is with our highest performing squash players. Volunteers signing up for this time slot should have college level squash skills.
Wednesdays:
4:30 - 5:30pm
5:30 - 6:30pm
6:30 - 7:30pm Volunteers during this 6:30pm timeslot will volunteer during "community squash" which is open to the general public (in addition to students). Volunteers signing up for this timeslot should have college-level squash skills.
Fridays:
4:30 - 5:30pm
5:30-6:30pm
Saturdays:
10am - 11:30am
11:30am - 1pm
Commitment: The general time commitment is at least one day per week.
Location: All in-person volunteer opportunities take place at the StreetSquash facility, 41 West 115th Street, New York, New York 10026.
