The Youth For Christ NYC/Hope for New York “His Toy Store” event takes place at Crossroads Juvenile Center where incarcerated youth are given the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts to send to their siblings and/or children back at home.

This grants them the chance to feel connected to home, and like they have something to offer during a season that often feels lonely to those inside.

On Tuesday, December 10th, volunteers will:

• Help set up the chapel space with toys (organizing by age) and decorations as we wait for the residents to come and shop.
• Help residents shop for toys for whomever they are shopping for.
• Help the youth write notes home to their loved ones.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
