God, so many of us are hurting. Our city and our neighborhoods need you. We pray, Lord, for the over 60,000 New Yorkers who are without homes. We lament the fact that we have been slow to love our neighbor as you call us to.

When we see injustice, we are quick to vilify, to point out wrongs, and to make accusations. We are not quick to pause, reflect, and lament the truth that we live in a world where injustices are prevalent.

This month, we decided to do things a little differently and sharing a list of books (and a podcast) from our Formed for Justice Conference speakers that are worth reading (and listening to) if you desire to grow in understanding and awareness.
