Pitch Night was unforgettable!
For a second year, four nonprofit partners pitched bold ideas that would provide tangible hope for New Yorkers in need.
Congratulations to Community Connections for Youth on winning $25,000 to invest in their Youth Leadership Collective!
While only one organization can receive the top Community Investment Award, every finalist was a winner. Safe Families for Children, our first runner-up, received $10,000 to invest in a program that will expand how they support multiple families in crisis. Both Chosen NYC and Uptown Literacy Lights, our second runners-up, received $5,000 each. Chosen NYC will invest in a leadership and discipleship program for youth playing basketball. Uptown Literacy Lights will invest in a program that works with churches to improve children’s reading comprehension.
We loved gathering with our Coalition of Hope to hear ideas that make our city a kinder and more compassionate place for all New Yorkers!

This year, in addition to the Community Investment Awards, you can support any finalist directly through giving! To sweeten the pitch, a generous donor has offered a $50,000 match to fund future programs like the ones our finalists presented. Please give by Friday, June 12.
