If I say that Tom is a mentor to me, I would be belittling the things he has done for me. Tom to me is a father, a mentor, a friend, but the real word for him is guardian angel. During high school, he taught me that I did not have to be the smartest guy in the room, but the hardest worker. In high school, Tom taught me to stop playing the victim. When it was time for college, Tom drove me to college, and during college he really played the role of father for me. Tom has seen me grow and has shaped me into the man I am today.
